Taormina capital of taste

Taormina Gourmet is back, the flagship event organized by the online magazine Cronachedigusto.it, scheduled from October 27th to 29th at the Hotel Villa Diodoro in Taormina.

Also this year the kermesse, now in its sixth edition, aims to showcase "all that is good in the world". We will host the best Italian wineries (and not only), gourmet chefs, including some starred, excellent agri-food companies, craft breweries appreciated throughout Italy and many journalists invited to tell the extraordinary peculiarities and strengths of the Italian agri-food system.

The appointment is on 27, 28 and 29 October at the Grand Hotel Villa Diodoro, in Taormina.

    Intesa Sanpaolo awards the best Sicilian Michelin Chefs

    Art Dinner – Pizzeria La Botte (located at no. 4 in Santa Domenica square) - Taormina
    10 great pizza chefs matching 5 great craft beers
    Taormina Gourmet 2018 opens with an exclusive dinner dedicated to pizza. The pizzeria La Botte will be the scene for the preview of the event with a unique event: ten great Sicilian pizza-chefs will meet five large craft beers.

    Thus Cronache di Gusto gives visibility to a world that in Sicily demand more space and recognition. The journalist Luciano Pignataro, curator of 50TopPizza, will introduce the evening. Limited places € 50.00

    "Games without frontiers" is the theme chosen for the cooking show within the sixth edition of Taormina Gourmet.
    There are no barriers in cuisine, nor cultural and geographical boundaries. Food becomes contamination, transformation, fusion of cultures, traditions, flavors and aromas in the hands of authoritative chefs, able to dialogue with tradition and make it elegant and contemporary.
    During each meeting all chefs will cook a dish, telling themselves and providing cues for a real cooking lesson dedicated to the most gourmand.

    A six-handed dinner with three major protagonists of Italian star restaurants: Lorenzo Cogo, chef at El Coq in Piazza dei Signori in Vicenza, Roy Caceres, chef and owner of the Metamorfosi restaurant in Rome and Accursio Craparo, chef and owner of the restaurant "Da Accursio" in Modica (RG) will prepare a tasteful itinerary in the wonderful setting of Villa Neri di Linguaglossa, on the slopes of Etna.
    Chef Elia Russo, from the restaurant "Le Dodici Fontane" of Villa Neri, will do the honors. € 130.00 per person
